Gratitude

Are you busy from sun up to sun down? Is life filled with responsibilities and obligations? Do you have trouble finding time to see a friend for a cup of coffee? It’s no wonder we are all walking around with some form of anxiety. We get caught in the never ending “to do” list and it can be overwhelming.
So, just for today, we ask you to try something different. It doesn’t cost anything or take any of your time. All it takes is a change of perspective; a change of thought.
Just for today, be grateful for everything that crosses your path.
You’re driving down the highway after a long day at work and get cut off. Anger, frustration, maybe a few expletives enter into your being. But how long do you usually hold onto it, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, are you still angry an hour later? Just for today, look at the other side; be grateful you weren’t in an accident.
Get in the wrong line at the supermarket? Be grateful that you have some time to breathe and reflect on your day.
Have an argument with your spouse? Be grateful that they care enough to argue and that they are there to make up with.
Just for today, change your perspective on the things that cross your path.
